Guillermo Damas, 39, has been deported at least twice from both California and Florida.
On Wednesday, he was arrested by police investigating a report of a “suspicious suspect” who was jumping fences and running through back yards in Port Hueneme.
One witness reported that Damaso tried to open her bedroom window when she caught him.
Records show that Damaso – an illegal alien – was on active probation for weapons and drug violations in the State of California. He also had an outstanding warrant in Florida for exposing himself in public, including indecent exposure to minors.
This is just another example of how California’s sanctuary policies put the public in danger. Not only is this man wanted for sex crimes including children, but he had a visible deportation record. In California, he was convicted on gun and drug charges. Even with all of this evidence, California authorities still chose to grant him parole instead of notifying ICE.
To their credit, local affiliates are running headlines indicating that Guillermo Damaso had been deported twice.
